Marie Thibault is a vigneronne who likes things simple and direct. Her wines reflect this frank philosophy. But perhaps her personal life – not so much. Between Marie and her Partner, Frantz Saumon, there is blended family with 4 children under the age of 10 years old to raise. So when it comes to relaxing with Frantz for an evening meal, a board with charcuterie made by her neighbours, some great regional cheese, a fresh baguette, and a bottle of her wines is a delightful dinner, perfect in its simplicity. The more local the cheese and the charcuterie, the better!

Pairing for this platter is easily done: Either a white wine from Marie Thibault – cuvée Premier Nez – 100% Chenin Blanc. Or for those more particular for red wine, Marie Thibault’s cuvée Les Grandes Vignes – 100% Gamay for the 2019 vintage. Most importantly, GOOD COMPANY is essential to make this pairing a success.
