Wines up with La Stoppa in Cujak

It was the third year of WInes up in Chateau de Cujak closed to Bordeaux. The occasion to discover winemakers from the old Europe, producing wines expressing the soil they were from.

La Stoppa was presenting its wines and has enjoyed numerous importers and passioned people with :

- The gutturnio 2007, quite more than one year of bottle now, the wine is very open.

- The macchiona 2004, wine of high potential due to the selection of best Barbera and Bonarda grapes aged one year separatly in big cask.

- The barbera, vintage just released.

- Ageno 2005, an exception wine coming from white varieties of Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, Ortrugo and Trebbiano, the wine followed a red wine process : grapes stemed and crushed, pomping over in the first days, the wine has stayed in contact with the skins for more than 3 months (for the 05 and one year for the 06). the gold robe is very limpid, the flavors floral first evolve then forward pear and peach, the mouth very aromtic too, has some astringence in finish. WONDERFUL, A perfect match with cheese !!
